Solve one of life's little annoyances. After working on the computer for a while, I needed to freshen up my tea and take off my glasses so I could see the way to the kitchen. In the kitchen, I found that I needed glasses to read the back of a packet of tea. Oops, the glasses are in the office. Or I've tucked them in the front of my shirt and inevitably lose them when bending down to pick up a dropped tea bag. NO LONGER! I open these glasses, leave them around my neck, they don't droop or tangle like granny glasses, they just sit comfortably and I can put them back on when I need to read something. Particularly useful for occasional household chores. For those who noticed that you can't read in bed - yes, it's true. But I have to say that it's easy to have regular readers by your bedside all the time, so it's not the same hassle. I wish I had bought these years ago.
