When you receive this lens, update the firmware immediately (download from Viltrox website, connect the lens via USB and drag and drop the DAT file onto the installed lens) . With the attached firmware, the autofocus works perfectly. I only notice chromatic aberration when shooting in very bright sunlight, like a little purple speck on the edges of distant objects. The autofocus is quiet and fast. Excellent build quality, lens hood is amazing. The aperture ring and manual focus ring have reassuring durability and feel good in use. Perfect for dialing in touch settings.
