Purchased with the intention of taking it abroad; the plan is to utilize one SIM card per family to provide Internet access for all members. We bought a plane ticket to the Maldives, bought a SIM card, and now nothing is working. The message "no connection" constantly blinks. We double-checked the phone's Internet connectivity and found no issues. Yeah, we figured it was possible that the Maldivian frequencies wouldn't work. I don't have the proper training for this. We've decided to give it another try on our upcoming vacation. They took a plane to Kyrgyzstan and tried using their SIM card there, but it was unsuccessful. Misused $3,800! Purchasing is not something I suggest you do.
