I opened this bed sheet set, washed it, dried it and put it on the bed. Yes they were a little wrinkled but smoothed out after being placed on the mattress. After all, it is 100% cotton. Aha! I didn't wake up hot and sweaty for a change. I am so tired of buying bedding sets that say cotton only to find they are (microfiber blend). The quality of this bedding is very good. The elastic on the sheet is actually sewn in and is wide to stay in place. My mattress is 12 inches so there was enough room to tuck the sheets in on each side and they didn't slide out. They are soft, stay in place (even when I toss and turn all night), smooth without scratching the sheets. I am diabetic. and you have dry skin and these sheets are very comfortable and don't rub or slide anywhere. I can't say enough about these wonderful sheets. Thank you Threadmill Home Textiles.
