The handle got very hot. Too hot to touch. I'll probably make a pen for this because the pancakes turned out so cute. But otherwise. Ouch. The bottom of the pot also looked very burnt. I have an electric stove. I flip the pancakes very carefully with an egg spatula. I made very thick pancakes. I'm not sure what variables are important for a successful swipe. If you're not very good at flipping, I would suggest having a second pan to flip. You still need to get the heart shape when the first half is done. I'm making super thick pancakes again. which is probably a variable in my success.
