Review on 🎧 Graphite Plantronics BackBeat GO 410 Wireless Headphones with Active Noise Cancelling Earbuds by Debra Riley

Active noise cancellation or noise isolation?

First of all, I don't like that you can only choose between strong bass and bright mode. There has to be something in the middle with more balance. Overall the fit is quite good. The controls sit a few inches from your ear, allowing you to freely scan the cable's twist, compromising on ergonomics. I believe that the ANC function is false advertising. The medium earbuds cover the most comfortable spots but don't block noise. I could literally talk to someone over the music. I opted for larger, snug-fitting earbuds that only attenuated some outside noise rather than canceling out sound waves, making this set more like noise isolation than ANC. My ears actually hurt after listening to music with high noise cancellation, bass mode and large headphones after just 10 minutes at medium volume. The price of these headphones is a bit criminal. I should have just trusted Jeffrey Kleinman's review. Now I have to try the Sony and Bose on-ear headphones to see how much better they are.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • Sad packaging
