I have a carpet cleaner that I have used it with. He did a great job revitalizing and refreshing the carpets in my home. We have 3 pets - 2 cats who throw up sometimes and 1 dog who sheds all the time. I haven't had any stains on my carpets so I can't comment on the effectiveness of the Biocline in removing stains. However, I can say that it doesn't stain my carpets and my whole house smells great - it's not an overpowering scent like many products on the market. I look forward to using it again on my mattresses and sofa! As for the price - I think it's too high. Store-bought carpet cleaner (yes, filled with a bunch of unnatural things) is half the price of this product. For example, if they wanted to make it competitive with what's on the market, they could charge $15 a bottle and get more customers. If I saw this next to a store bought carpet cleaner that costs $10 and this one costs $20 I would close the $10. But if it were me it would be $15, I would pay an extra $5 for a more natural product.
