UPDATE: Lasted 11 months . But I attached it to my forklift and took it off to charge it every day. The screw broke so I can't use it now. See new picture. The magnet is very strong. So strong that you have to be careful not to damage anything painted. I just attach it to the forklift so don't worry if it gets scratched. It can be installed at 90 degrees to stick to the wall. I use it for a bluetooth speaker. The ball that turns the screw is very smooth. As a result, the speaker will sometimes get out of position unless you tighten it very firmly. I think over time the ball gets rougher and holds better. It's quite heavy but seems very strong and durable. There is a large rubber coated washer that you can tighten to prevent whatever you attach it to from loosening. See last picture.
