VERY easy to place close to your main power source. I use REAL 8 gauge wire, not the "8 gauge" BS wire that you get in the wire kit. The wire harness MAY use 12 gauge in a giant insulator (the red plastic housing that the wire goes through) and therefore the ends of these fuses will have a gap between the wire jacket and the lug. Therefore 4 stars. But it's easy to connect and place and gives me peace of mind that I won't short out the battery if something goes wrong. Which I doubt, but better safe than sorry.
