Update (9/11/20): The woman ran a 2 hour backup (was a while) and the temps started at 87F and ended at 101F USB-C is becoming more common and there are many hub options. What differs from this is the VGA connector, which is not so common these days. Most docking ports have an HDMI or display port (this one has a mini-DP). This docking station is suitable for those who have a VGA monitor.
