Review on Triangle Group TR968 225/55 R17 101 year old by Michal Adach ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The purchase was not entirely successful, there were minor problems in use.

Bought 2 sets, for Honda Accord and Skoda Octavia. Left for two seasons. There were pits and pits at speed and everything is ok. Not well balanced. At speeds over 200 it does not burst, but we drive so rarely. Strong, we drive anywhere, but in two seasons I caught a self-tapping screw once, so far it’s a record (colleagues catch 4-8 punctures per season). In the second season, she became just oak. But in general, for their money, very, very good. It does not hold very well on wet asphalt, but if you do not drive over 120, then everything will be normal and predictable. Wear resistance - with a dynamic ride for 30 t. Km on both machines, the remainder is more than good. Enough for a season, or even 2 (yokohama and dunlops went for a maximum season). The main disadvantage is SHUUUM. On a car with a good Shumkov, you might not notice it, but on an octave, it's just annoying. Yes, and in terms of comfort they are C grade. For comparison, a ride on the Michelin Pilot Sport 3. Got it. That next season I will change the tires. Because it is simply unbearable to go at speed. The rumble is like on a Kamaz. And the tires are worth the money. But do not forget that it costs a penny.

Pros
  • Price, strength, wear resistance, pattern, handle probably.
Cons
  • Noise, noise, noise.
