Includes everything a beginner would need except a tire which would be very useful (but could add bulk to the package). This really isn't for beginners, the level of the pattern is something like 115 by 95, the colors of the floss are 12 (!) and there's really no info on how to start (put loop in needle, those are hiding floss tails , how to make one, two or three threads in one needle, it would be very useful to learn). All this to say it comes out absolutely stunning and I am SO pleased. Wasted hours with it! For a total beginner, I'd wager it takes 50 hours of focused time. The filament (thread) gap is high, I don't worry about running out, which is a very big relief for a beginner.
