First I read all the reviews on this and a few others. To that I say read the included instructions BEFORE you start fiddling with your lights. The writing in the manual is tiny, but just do it and save yourself some frustration because it will tell you exactly what to do if your old bulb's mounting ring doesn't fit the bottom of the LED (the LED bulb can fall apart and it fits on top), also check the clearance between the back of the headlight and everything else in the car to make sure you have enough clearance. On the one hand I had a lot, on the other hand it was very tight. First photo: On the left my old low beam headlight, on the right the low beam LED. Second photo: Above is my old high beam, below is the low beam LED. There is no comparison! I installed them on a 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette minivan. What I started with were horrible headlights and the lenses were pretty scratched too. We had maybe 1 year left to use this van as a daily driver so I wouldn't change both headlights altogether. These LED lights really plug in and work. The van has reflector headlights (no projector) and they're still insanely bright. As another review says, I'm one of those people on the road and I don't care because I can finally see the road! Excellent visibility even in the rain. The signs light up 50 yards before you reach them and for us the road is lit about 20 feet in front of the van. In my case, the high beam provides a more concentrated light down the middle of the road, but it's no brighter than the low beam, so I had no reason to use it. I prefer the bright white light from these LEDs to traditional headlights. We've been using it for over a month with no problems.
