Update: I've added a picture of the cycling shorts inside out to show the very strong seat pad. Looking back I think I would have gone up a size but they still work well. *** I got these when my traditional padded suede-style cycling shorts broke. I'm 6'1", 160 lbs, 32" waist and tall. Definitely glad I went up the size as recommended! The shorts are still quite tight but they have a lot of elastane so are great for riding. The seat cushion is fairly prominent, thick and noticeable when walking, but once you get on the bike it feels comfortable, breathes well when riding and offers good padding. The leg ends are tight and do not ride up at all when pedaling. All in all a good buy. Flat seams, well stitched, nice white inserts on the sides for better visibility. I wish the pillow was a little less bulky, but that's definitely fine.
