Review on Precision Measuring Tool: Mitutoyo 117 107 Uni Mike Friction Thimble by Bryan Fields
Fit for specific purpose, limited radial measurement
Great product but not for my purpose. The geometry doesn't allow you to measure more than a quarter of an inch. Since I needed it for a lathe, I sent it back. I'm sure this will measure well, but the support limits the diameters and orientations you can measure.
