FIRST THING TO KNOW: Even though the suction power is quite good, you should check frequently that both sides are well aligned and that the suction power is working. My kitten is 5 months old and weighs around 9-10 pounds, I don't have an adult cat but I think this is more suitable for a kitten due to the materials. This hammock is made of plastic and tubes that make the hammock a little wobbly. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy this for an adult cat, but if you're buying it for an adult heavy cat, pay close attention, be aware of the number one hazard, which is the suction not working properly because the cat is too heavy, carefully monitor whether the hammock is stable enough for your adult cat. All in all I can recommend this hammock, it is actually my cat's favorite place to sleep. It has a very reasonable price, it was very easy to assemble, I highly recommend it to KÄTZCHEN.
