The product arrived as advertised and worked well with my 1.25 inch steering wheel 7 with iPhone holder. It is important to note that it turns out that due to the fact that the phone is in a protective Otter Box case, it was practically impossible to mount it on the mount. I wouldn't dare put on a bare phone. The springs in the clip that holds the phone aren't strong enough to give me confidence, although the elastic acts like a seat belt. Although I haven't had the opportunity to take a long trip, I would recommend a 3 star mount
