I am very hard on my chainsaw. Actually, I am abusive. Clearing invasive species in my wetland means hours and hours of ground level cutting in the dirt and snow. The Sungator chain is great. The cutter link remains sharp thru alot of abuse. However, I am finding that the drive link is soft and deforms once the chain comes off the bar. What a soft drive link means is that re-sharpening the chain is not likely because the drive link deforms first.If you do not re-sharpen your chain, then this is the perfect product for you. The cutter link is sharp and remains sharp thru a lot of cutting. If you think that not re-sharpening your chain is wasteful, you should look elsewhere.
