I wasn't exactly looking for an all-clad when I was looking for a big vegetable steamer. However, this was the only one I found in this size with the type of steamer basket I was looking for. The dual handle steamer is the only option if you don't want to burn your hands. We had another type and hated it so much we never used it. The two handles also make it easier to remove the steamer insert to check the water level. more space for vegetables. Our little steamer works great most days but is extremely useful for cooking large veggies like artichokes and a few cobs of corn. We can certainly steam enough veggies for society. I spent a little more than originally thought for a vegetable steamer of this size but it has the features I was looking for and I am very happy with the quality. Definitely recommended for anyone who needs a large vegetable steamer.
