This roof rack is amazing. There are 4 main parts out of the box and then the hardware and all the straps. Assembling each of the four parts and devices takes about a minute. Then simply slide the two pieces that fit together and the assembly is complete. Installing roof crossbars takes about the same amount of time, less than 5 minutes. With a short setup time, they slip on and off easily when launching the boat, so you can leave them in your car with peace of mind while you enjoy your day on the water. The straps are good too. Some of them have 4 tie down straps to attach kayaks to the rack and come with 2 ratchet straps for the front and back of the boats to attach to the front and back of your car. The adjustable center stand is very easy to use and can be operated with one hand. All in all, this is a great roof rack.
