I bought this to connect 2 external monitors to my work laptop. I first tried it on my personal laptop but it didn't detect a monitor and I was frustrated. After some research, it turned out that my laptop does not support video over USB-C and therefore is not suitable for my needs. Fast forward a few days to finally getting my work laptop and lo and behold, it worked! It was truly plug and play and both monitors work perfectly. I also currently have a wireless mouse/keyboard connected to it and it works great! I'll admit I don't use any of the other features/ports but I got them strictly for 2 monitor use and the rest is there if I choose to use them. For the money spent I am very satisfied and would buy it again.
