No extra volume for fine/straight hair.
I have to blow dry to get lots of volume and I wouldn't say the volume is more than a normal shampoo. It smells nice and cleans well, but when I use conditioner my hair gets weighed down in the evenings. So if you want volume for fine hair I would probably look for something better. If all you want is good smell and cleanliness, this should work.
