My 2006 RAV4 key fell apart in my hands as I turned it on the ignition. Luckily, the remote transmitter (the inside of the remote) stayed in pristine condition, and realizing I didn't want to pay a ridiculous price that a local Toyota dealer might be charging, I jumped at the chance and bought this item. They arrived quickly and after a quick trip to the local key shop to cut blanks for my key, I reattached the remote buttons and plugged in the transmitter. Works like a charm and the total cost of two spare and key cuts. it was $16.
