Yay, yay, yay! It works!

Simple, works, no mess, YAY! I returned from 3 week vacation to find a moth. Just one. And next day, one moth. Killed it. Next day, one moth. And so on. So I knew I had to have an infestation, but where? I researched online, mostly in these reviews, bought a bunch of cedar, and clothing bags, cedar oil, ready to schlep all my clothes outside in the conveniently (?) freezing weather, but I don't know which kind of moths these are or where they are nesting and afraid to check all those clothes hanging in my closet waiting a decade for me to lose weight. so plan is to use the traps to kill as many as possible, identify which room(s) they are in with the traps, then set about deterring them from returning- ever- with the cedar stuff. The traps arrived fast but I was slow to get them open. Its really ridiculously easy, nicely packaged, open a package, fold out the trap, pull of the backing, insert slot a into hole b (they aren't labeled, there's only one slot and only one hole), don't be a moth and stick your finger on the sticky trap stuff. I set it down on the coffee table in the living room while i sat on the couch, I had seen one here each night. All of a sudden out of nowhere come so many moths it was scary. I saw one fly into the trap, alight and fly out. So I left the room for a bit, and each time I came back, more moths were stuck in the trap. Its so nice, you don't see the dead moths unless you look inside. This is a 100% product. They got it all right. It works, its environmentally and pet and people friendly, it's easy, its not too expensive, its smart and once again, it works.I just saw another moth, missed it, but not worried, I know it will end up in the trap. I may have started a little late to avert a full blown infestation, may find the nest or holes in my clothing, but it sure is nice to have a way to fight back, especially when you don't know where they are hiding.*update* Well, I know where they are hiding thanks to Dr. Killigan's. After I wrote this review I poked around the 1 and 2 star reviews. Dr. K's responses let me know a) these traps are for pantry moths and NOT clothes moths and b) they like to come in bags of bird seed and c) the traps are not going to solve the problem unless you find the nest and get that.According to plan, I put the traps in different rooms where I had seen the moths. Plenty trapped in the living room and my office next to the living room, but none in the kitchen. Guess what's in the living room? Several bags of bird seed. Totally gross beyond words, I found lots of their webs and larvae in this open shelving unit. I came back to find out what to do once you find the nest. Not sure if I can add this link but it sure is helpful:http://susiej.com/how-to-get-rid-of-the-pantry-moth-infestation/ (SusieJ How I Finally Got Rid of Pantry Moths). Having come this far (and happy to keep and use my cedar stuff to prevent the clothes type moth, I figure pantry moths were a warning shot, clothing moths would be much worse for me) and seeing the extent of the infestation, and how as I carried some of the bits outside a moth here or there got free, may be inside. Some have to be left in the house and now they will try to make another home in the kitchen prolly, if they haven't already. So I just ordered some Diatomaceous Earth and a duster, and plan to cover the kitchen, behind the fridge, everywhere with it.So it is possible that other traps may trap more moths, but in any case, they'll come back if you don't find the nest. Dr. K's helped me find the nest, and their answers to complaints here on Best Buy were also helpful. Yes, you can probably do the same with fly paper.
