Review on High-Quality Teac TN-300SE-MB Analog Turntable In Matte Black by Khaled Ribeiro

Easy To Use And Good Value For The Money

First off, this is my second time owning one of these although my last one was an LP-R550 USB and this one is an LP-R660 USB. Why the first one didn't last was my fault, you may want to read through the manual before replacing the needle and make sure the needle you use is rated for this model. I enjoy converting vinyl to digital so I tried some different things after my last Teac model and after trying to save some money with set ups that weren't as good or simply just didn't work I decided to reinvest in this Teac model and I find it is worth it. This one seems to have more bass than the previous model but that could be my imagination and it also seems to have a slightly different tone arm but that could be my imagination also. You can use CD-RW discs to record and re-record on and the machine can erase those discs as well so you can reuse them otherwise you have to have music CD-R discs on hand to use. It can also play and/or record from cassettes as well. This basically has all you need to record from records or cassettes in one easy to use unit. Like I wrote previously, this is the second Teac CD recorder I have purchased if that tells you anything. Just do yourself a favor and read the instruction manual.

Pros
  • Easy to set up and use, Tone arm lifting handle could be a little longer for easy lifting.
Cons
  • Only plays vinyl records
