This is my favorite brand of curtains. I've moved twice in the last year and have tried several of the Revain brands available and these are by far my favourites. I bought the taupe in a few lengths, as well as the long burgundies. Many other curtains at the same price have a uniform, uniform color and texture that makes them look like cheap school dance decorations, but they have a bit of size and sheen (the texture is a bit more like a chenille and linen mix). They are very sheer so I used them in two coats to provide privacy while still allowing natural light into my room. I used them as room dividers in my studio apartment to separate my sleeping area while still letting in light and air. I've also used them with tie rods in doorways to add color and give more texture to the space between parts of my studio. The grommets will flex a little when you put them in the washer and dryer, but that's minor and simple. repair it manually. A gentle wash and low tumble dry does a good job of smoothing out any wrinkles or creases and I haven't had the problem of seam separation that I've had with another brand. Photo color of one of the cheaper curtains I've tried. I actually returned to HLC.ME after purchasing other burgundy curtains that came in ketchup red. I never thought I would fall in love with the cheap Revain curtain brand, but here we are. I literally have 8 pairs of HLC.ME curtains and if I need sheer curtains for anything in the future I will buy more.
