, I ordered this 4100k bulb to replace my old flickering 2700k bulb. I ordered on January 1st and received it on January 6th. This is a great twist on free shipping! This bulb is much whiter, which I prefer. 2700k is more of an unsightly brown-brown light, 4100k is more of a bluish white. (Remember standard halogen versus HID in car headlights). The light isn't much brighter, which helps at night, so it doesn't glare, but it's closer to the light spectrum of the human eye, so reading a book or coloring in a coloring book is less stressful. The only minor downside is that it flickers low-high quickly when you turn it on, as it seems to appear halfway through and then all the way, but it's so fast (probably around a quarter of a second) that it's barely noticeable. It doesn't bother me at all. Still much better than the old lightbulb that flickered slightly all the time.
