It was a sad day for my wife when our kitchen scale broke. We had a backup but it's not that good so my wife made do with that. I recently bought this and am very happy with the results so far. First, it has a large surface that I can place a saucer or bowl on and still read the numbers. Second, it has a HUGE 33-pound food scale capacity. I can't imagine what kind of food my wife would measure at 33lbs but she can if she has to! Finally, and what my wife likes best, is that it has an ON/OFF button. Sometimes it's the simple things in life but our previous feed scales don't have them and she loves it. I am very impressed with this scale and can only recommend it!
