I bought this splitter to replace my old splitter that didn't support 4K and I'm so glad I found it because not only does it support 4K, but also built like a tank . It comes in an all-metal case that's held together with real screws instead of cheap plastic, which is a big plus for me because I love when things are made to last. It's pretty easy to use, you plug in your HDMI on one side and it creates two precise outputs that you can send to multiple destinations. It also accepts a 5V mini USB connector for power, which you may or may not need depending on your source cable. I'm using USB power for my setup because I'm using mine with an HDMI recorder that requires it. I only had one small problem. If your input source doesn't allow you to change the resolution, the default is 720. If my input source is a computer, streaming device, or Blu-ray, I can change the resolution to whatever I want in the appropriate menus. but when I use it with my iPhone or iPad I can't adjust the resolution so it ends up being 720p.
