Great Thick Yoga Mat

It was exactly what I expected. I used it right out of the box. It really is 1/4 in. thick.UPDATE: Just bought another one (had to replace the old one due to a broken glass mishap otherwise i would still be using the last one). They are nice sturdy mats. It is important to note that they are quite heavy because of their thickness.
