I feel that while this does not replace cleaning the retainer, it does add another level of disinfection. It features easy operation and three UV LED lamps for "effective 360° disinfection". Although I don't think it can effectively disinfect surfaces that come in contact with the silicone shell. "Effective 360° disinfection" probably refers to a 360° horizontal area. Ultraviolet rays are increasingly used in household/household disinfection/sterilization products. This is a very successful application, thought out to the smallest detail. After inserting the latch, close the lid and press the power button for a few seconds. The light around the power button indicates active operation. You can also see how bluish light "escapes" from the small gap between the lid and base. The disinfection process switches off automatically after 2 minutes of exposure to UV radiation. If you need to stop the process, pressing the power button will turn it off. As a safety measure, opening the lid also turns off the UV LEDs. The instruction manual is very short. In fact, product specifications like battery capacity are not even mentioned. The product information states that the battery capacity is 400 mAh and it takes 2-3 hours to charge. When the battery is charging, the small hole on the side of the USB-C port changes color from yellow to green when the battery is fully charged. No useful information is given about the uptime. There are no cleaning instructions either. I'm not sure if the silicone shell is safe to remove. I did a little inspection and can't tell if it's glued or not. So, removing the silicone shell won't ruin the product because it can't be put back on? Can I just wipe the tray with a damp cloth to avoid wetting anything else? These issues should be addressed in the user manual. The device works well and has a thoughtful design. The lack of important information lowers the ratings. Thus, it receives a rating of 4 to 4.25 stars with a moderately high recommendation.
