Exactly what I was looking for

I needed a one piece swimsuit for my 5 year old but didn't want to sacrifice protection. I usually stick with long sleeve rashguard sets, but my daughter wanted something more girly. Went with one piece, cut off the hem and attached it to the elastic of a pair of well-fitting underwear. Now she has a mom and dad-approved two-piece swimsuit. Daughter is 5 years old, 45 inches tall, weighs about 40 pounds. Bought a 4t/5t and it fits perfectly with plenty of room to grow.
