Perfect spare bag solution. Folds up well, reasonably strong construction (though probably not strong enough for heavy-duty or long-term use), good size when unfolded. Just back from 3-week international trip where I carried only a small backpack the whole time. This duffel bag folded up to fit in my backpack and was invaluable to hold items I bought on the road and to separate stuff for day trips. Couldn't have been better.
