Virtual internships have been great for me!

The best part about virtual internships is that it allows students to get hands-on experience in their field of study without having to relocate or pay for expensive relocation expenses. I think this could be improved by adding more training courses with different industries, which would allow students to choose the industry they are most interested in.
As an intern, I have gained valuable knowledge in my field. It has been very beneficial in helping me build confidence in myself as well as my future career goals.

Flexible hours
No commute/time off work involved time can go straight into learning new skills!
Great opportunity if you want something outside your degree course but don't know what specifically yet.
Very good chance at making connections within companies through working together remotely across international locations (ease!).Cons : None really; there were some difficulties setting up initially due too lacklustre support from university staff however these issues soon disappeared once we had
