I'm not a professional. I enjoy playing golf and have been known to play with a bag full of used golf balls, especially when playing on a course with a lot of water hazards. To me, there's nothing more frustrating than tossing expensive brand new golf balls into a water hazard (read: deep lake) and knowing you won't be returning them and you just bought them. Well, maybe ruining a great game on the green is pretty frustrating too. Go Sports versatile golf balls for play or practice are great for my level of play. I don't see any difference in this compared to some fairly expensive golf balls I've gotten for years. In fact, compared to some balls I've gotten over the years, they seem a bit more manageable and easier to handle than some high-performance balls. They feel less harsh and twitchy and slightly softer and more manageable. They look just like any other golf ball and are VERY inexpensive. I would recommend them to any weekend goer. I wouldn't give it to this semi-professional nephew who considers himself an outstanding golfer - he might be offended or it might be beneath his dignity. But I don't know anyone like that so they would make a great gift for my friends as well as a great set of balls for my personal use. Group because I show up with NEW balls every week instead of used scrapes! I would recommend them to anyone who wants to make an expensive game of golf a little cheaper. I don't think you sacrifice anything to use them for gaming and they look and play great. I know it's a psychological phenomenon, but I always shoot a little better when I play the game with brand new balls.
