I don't understand the transparency problem. This is a good quality hat that is easy to flatten and pop out. Inside there is a small secret compartment for a flat plush rabbit or a coin. My 9 year old loves it. He loves to dance and uses it more as props than to practice magic. Seems to be holding up well! There's no reason not to get it.
