A bit tricky at first as there are no settings, so I recommend trying it yourself first. My dogs always bark at the doorbell so I put collars on them. and rang the bell over and over again to make her bark. The first 5 barks made the collar squeak and didn't stop them, but then when the collar vibrated my dogs stopped immediately and tried to look at their necks. It's actually pretty funny! My large dog is not barking at all right now and my small one will bark until the vibration kicks in. So it worked great with my big dog and moderately with my little one. I would love to change the settings so that the collars vibrate at the first bark but overall great value!
