addition in less than a year: the machine started making noise and now cooks unevenly. Used a maximum of 10 times. Qualitatively disappointed. It was great while it worked. Now I just need a waffle iron... The search continues.——————————— I have had a love-hate relationship with waffles for many years. I love eating them but hate cleaning them. All I knew was that someone had to come up with a solution to this messy cleaning. Tried it with a healthy dose of skepticism. Admittedly this doesn't seem like the best product but it makes amazing, thick waffles and clean up is a breeze. I repeat: cleaning is easy! Just take out the plates and wash them. This product alone is worth it for this function alone. Now I make big batches of waffles and freeze them for a quick breakfast. Pop them in the fryer and they'll get nice and warm - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Aegette is a bit harder for me to use - hard not to burn her. I haven't really tried the omelette maker. I would like temperature control. I also don't use the lighting system to tell me when the waffles are done; I'm just checking to see if they look finished. Doesn't look like a quality product but has been working for a few months. If this changes I will update this review. In general I recommend.
