I'm a little disappointed with this chick because the lid is almost impossible to remove. It's hard enough when the pot is cold, but if you've recently boiled water and want to remove the lid to cook more, you'll have to use oven mitts and it really gets stuck in there. A couple of times I nearly burned myself from the water that spurted out when I finally managed to remove the lid. The inside of the pot has a very deep rim, otherwise the water may leak out and it will be difficult to clean. Not very happy with this purchase
