They must be worn with socks.
Bought for my 9 year old and they are "too tight" for her to wear. I started wearing them for her to help her break in and they are too hard for me. However, if you wear them with socks, they are decent. Apart from that they are fine.

- Runs small, this is the third time I've bought these shoes for my son and I forgot I had to go up a size each time.
- My son complains about the studs on the inside of the sandals...you have to wear socks with them all the time.
