At first glance, this shouldn't be a problem. Start the vacuum, stand back and let the pump do all the work. Unfortunately, this was not at all convenient. The pump I was provided kept turning on causing the solenoid to open and losing the vacuum I was able to generate. This process repeated every 3-5 minutes for several hours before I threw it away and put it back in the box it came in. When I contacted the manufacturer of this product, they told me it must be user error. Your tech support is someone telling you that if their product failed, it must be your fault. I would drop this until the 3rd or 4th gen as it is a software issue that requires a lot of work.
