I have been using leather cases for the last two Huawei Mate Porsche Design models for 5 years. The phones are still intact and look brand new even with a small scratch. Since Android was banned, I switched to Samsung and bought the S21 Ultra (great phone). Bought this very expensive "official" gatefold cover for S21. After only 5 weeks I am very disappointed. After just two days, I noticed scratches on the right side of the phone screen, with matching marks on the inside of the plastic viewing window. At first I thought it was my fault and that I should have overlooked the sand or dust that had seeped between the case and the phone. I've since learned that it was actually a very horrible design by Samsung that they should recall all of these cases and refund them to customers (as I know they do with those who claim to even repair damaged phones in some cases substitute). The cover sits on the right edge of the phone's screen, and since the hinge is pretty loose, it keeps sliding up and down, scratching the screen no matter how careful you are. Luckily in my case since I got the international version it came with a plastic screen protector which I can now replace. Unfortunately there are no other flip cases worth buying (some Chinese offerings with very bad reviews and not smart). Stay away from this case or you will end up with an extremely expensive pen, a useless case and need to buy a new case, replace the original screen protector or end up with a damaged phone screen. You can search the internet and find many angry customers complaining about it.
