While trying to relieve my chronic muscle/tendon/fascial issues (mainly calves, feet) I came across the idea of scratching. I ordered another wooden instrument and was introduced to metal instruments in various PTs but saw this and ordered. It's amazing value and my favorite to date. It feels very good in the hand, is very durable (like a stone) and smooth and can be used in many ways. Curved side for larger areas, pointed end for more intense, smaller areas (the ankles and side of the foot in my case). It's also small enough to carry in your purse or pocket. Love it!
