I had an original XBOX in the early 2000's. Bought a first generation 360 a few years later (which had a fatal "RROD" out of the box, but I returned it for another one that also had the same fatal out of warranty hard drive failure). Anyway, after a year without an XBOX (how did I survive?) I bought this kit. I had to purchase an XBOX (craigslist) data cable to transfer my profiles/information from my dead 360 to this console's internal hard drive, but once I had a wizard that made the transfer painless. Kinect is cool but buggy at times (I mean, it's still a Microsoft product). Most of my problems are related to voice control. My wife is from Mexico and you can FORGET that Kinect recognizes her voice/accent, but it also has trouble understanding me and sometimes activates when someone is speaking on TV. Both games (carnival games are downloadable) are fun, and my legs are surprisingly tired/sore (but I'm fat) after a few rounds of jumping and crouching under obstacles in Kinect Adventures. Anyway, I'm glad the XBOX is back in my living room.
