As you can see in the photo I installed a stand, it holds my monitors so it does the job. The range of motion for positioning monitors is great, but it can also be frustrating when positioning monitors. There are two problems with this stand. First, the pole isn't long enough for my purposes. The top of the monitors have to be at eye level, and with my desk in the right position for my arms, they're way too low. Another centimeter would be just right. I might add a piece of wood at the end and use a longer bolt to add height. Second, the VESA mounts don't fit exactly. you swing. This means that any adjustment that needs to be made to align the monitors horizontally or vertically is very difficult. It is necessary to move the monitor past the desired position to make contact between the arm and the mount, and then move it just far enough to achieve the desired change in position, all in the hope that when the Monitor returns to its original position, the adjustment was done correctly. . What's missing is a set screw to hold the mount securely to the attachment point at the end of the arm. (The design is such that the mount must slide through the attachment point at the end of the arm, which makes installation easier, but loosening it to allow the mount to attach creates adjustment issues.) If the bar were taller and the mounts could securely attached to the brackets, then it will be a five star monitor stand. Update: I purchased two sets of Mount Plus MP-XMA-02 Height Adjustable VESA Adapter Mounts for 13" to 27" computer screens. (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07MCSDCN5/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_gRsVEbMHC8W0P) to get the extra height I need. Perhaps a stand with articulated arms to raise and lower the monitors would have been better, but now everything works the way I wanted it to.
