This rear silencer leaves nothing to be desired in terms of accuracy of fit and workmanship. The stainless steel shines and looks like it should last forever. The muffler is quite quiet, if you are looking for an aggressive sound then this might not be it. Installed on 01 Silverado 2500HD 8.1L add. The cabin is long, the bed (many tubes). I like the tone of the sound, but it's really barely louder than the stick. The difference is noticeable in the cockpit, but I think it's better. I haven't experienced any of the resonance issues with these mufflers that others report. Even my wife, who doesn't like noisy cars at all, agrees that it's not noisy at all.
