Adonit is a brand that is on the short list of manufacturers that represent a good alternative to the Apple Pencil. Their products and the Logitech Crayon are the best $130 alternatives for the second-generation Apple Pencil. This stylus works with all touchscreen devices, but for this test I'll focus on the iPad because the iPad is the perfect tablet and Apple won the tablet war. This pen has two modes: Green light mode. that works with all touchscreens, including iPad and iPhone, as well as a blue light mode designed for the latest iPads that support Apple Pencil, 1st generation in the case of the base model 10.2-inch iPad and iPad mini and 2 case of the iPad Air and Pro. This is the best mode for the iPad as it uses the same palm rejection technology and works in tandem with the iPad at the hardware level (as opposed to simply simulating what a finger tap or swipe into a green light would do). physical quality of this product is good, it's made of a combination of plastic and metal, and it's very comfortable to write with the stylus, just as good as an apple pencil for writing but not for drawing artists, so I really can use them don't compare like that. If you have an Apple Pencil paired with your iPad, it can conflict with the Adonit AI Voice Stylus. I had no problems until the Apple Pencil (2nd gen) was actively connected to the iPad, but when yes, just turn off bluetooth and reconnect Adonit. There is an application that you must use if you want to use most available features of this product. This is also de In case you need to pair the stylus with the iPad to be able to transfer entries from Sylus' 2GB onboard storage to the app storage so it can save the entries and then transfer them to the app have the full 2 GB (again) available. When pairing Adonit with an iPad, press and hold the power button for three seconds to put it into pairing mode and make sure the blue light is flashing rapidly. On the first try I got a slower flashing light and. The iPad could not find the pen. Recordings sound good, but not amazing. They're certainly usable and will get the job done, but they don't sound as good as the built-in mics on an iPhone or iPad Pro. The transcription function also works well, it correctly converted the recording I made and was 95% accurate. He is even clever enough to put a punctuation mark and a question mark at the end of a question and a period at the end of a statement. By default, you only get 10 minutes of transcribed audio with the free plan. Not sure if this updates every month or if it's only free for the first month. For $6 per month, you can get a Silver plan that allows for 120 minutes of transcription per month. There doesn't seem to be a way to export the audio to the Files app or share it with another app, which is smart of them because you can then use third-party software and not have to pay them anything. If I find a way to do this I will update the review. Overall this is a unique and well made product, it appears to be one of a kind but there may be others who like it. I doubt they are that well made or from a brand that is that good at making pens. It's pricey, but offers a compelling list of features that you're unlikely to find in any other standalone product. Pros + Good quality pen. The transcription works very well. One of the key features of this product is tied to its paid service, which requires a monthly usage fee. The setup process is multi-step and a bit complicated. Update: The copper-colored pocket clip on my stylus broke pretty quickly, no sloppy part to me. I think it's better this way, but still.
