So far this grater is working very well. It grates the cheese in the same way as the rotary grater used in gastronomy. A few years ago I had another brand that I really liked but which disappeared after moving. I hope this one lasts as long as that one. It is easy to assemble and rotates easily. I was able to get a piece of Parmigiano Reggiano from Fratelli Carli. I cut off a small piece to use as a grater and keep the excess in a container for later use. I love how the cheese just flows out to cover a plate of pasta or other dish, like a nice fluffy blanket. The grater is easy to clean. I take it apart and put it in the top rack of the dishwasher.
