I had a latch of this design in a truck camper and liked it so much I decided to use it in my truck trailer conversion. Well, these are holes. Right out of the box some have to fiddle around just to open/close them. I had to decline 2 because they just didn't click to block. You either install them on 3/4" doors/drawer fronts or jump through hoops to make them work on 1/2" doors. The next latch that attaches to the cabinet is tiny and not adjustable. Common sense dictates that there should be room for adjustment. The screws are incredibly small so I used bigger screws but the lack of adjustment is bad. Next you need to drill a hole where the slip ring will be inserted. It's not 1 inch, it's about 1-1/16 inch, but you may need to file it down a bit. The hole size is unforgiving. Too small and the ring goes in but rubs on the button, too big and the ring falls out. I had to use glue on some that came out too big. I added 8 of these today and took about 6 hours. In hindsight, I should have thrown them away and gotten better quality.
