Wraps around boogie board and fits snugly on top and bottom to fully cover writing area. Unfortunately, it doesn't cover the buttons on the circuit board, so you have to hold it in the middle of the device when walking. The material is not rigid enough to not bend or come into contact with the writing area on the board, so it will leave erosion marks on any notes you may have. Harder plastic, or perhaps wrapped around the top and bottom of the boogie board, would offer more protection. He could also hold the board tighter. Sometimes the board may slide up or down on this product. Otherwise it looks very good. I'll be patient until I find something better.
